Balinese Spa Massage
You’ll know you’ve been worked on after feet and facial scrubs, warm moist flannels, heated herbal compresses, and a variety of pummelling, stretching and compression techniques leave you warmed and energised.
It’s true to say that flow, rhythm, and heat are key elements to this massage, but this massage also means business for your muscles, as it’s a truly deep tissue, detoxifying, rejuvenating massage.
The herbal compress is filled with aromatic spices and herbs, including lemongrass and coriander. These warm wet wrapped cushions of oriental bliss glide over your body to aid relaxation and muscular relief, ease aches and pains, promote natural healing, improve circulation and increase the body’s energy flow.
At Man on the Couch, Steve also uses Nag Champa scrub and oil for the face, and a Bergamot, Cypress, Patchouli and Ylang Ylang scrub for the feet. The Balinese body oil is a blend of Ginger, Fennel, Vetiver, and Clove...the smells during this massage are divine.
