Tantric Reiki Healing
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a life energy transmitted through a Reiki practitioner. Steve is a Master practitioner of Reiki. Reiki is often used as an emotional, physical or spiritual cleansing and healing treatment. It can be effective in easing physical ailments such as cancer, hormone, gland, anxiety, sexual and stress related problems, as well as pain, suffering, loneliness, trauma and depression, causes of which may be unknown. A Reiki treatment connects your body to the divine, with archangels' healing helping you to release, and let go, of these blockages.
This Tantric treatment can be performed naked or clothed, whichever you feel more comfortable. Being naked can help open the body and mind up to external and new influences. Reiki energy is sent to the base chakra as well as other main chakras energy centres in its healing through Steve's hands and also through use of your breathing, sound and small physical exercises requested by Steve. It can be performed sat or stood on a yoga mat, or lying on the comfort of a massage couch or bed. You may consider a Chakra Energy Balancing Consultation to be beneficial in preparation.
The base chakra, located in the perineum area of the male, is the root of our support, our connection to earth and nature, and governs the kidneys, adrenals, pelvis, hips, knees, lower back, sciatic nerve and bowel movement. It is the source and resting place of kundalini, a mythological serpent that lies coiled up asleep as a base energy that we aim to lift upwards to the higher chakras for personal enlightenment and development, bringing about shifts in consciousness and sudden awakenings.
The next three major chakras are aligned up the spine up and govern other body organs, for example the 2nd chakra is located at your Dan Tian point (an inch below the belly button). It is the creative and sexual centre and governs the sexual organs, bladder and prostate, and is associated with water. The third chakra, at your solar plexus, below the ribs, governs the spleen, liver, gall bladder, stomach and pancreas, and is your power centre, assoicated with fire. The heart chakra is your 4th major energy centre in the centre of the chest, governing the heart, lungs and thymus, and is associated with air, breath, love and compassion.
The higher chakras, 5, 6 and 7, are at the throat, forehead and crown respectively. The 5th chakra relates forms your communication, your voice, how you express yourself to the world. The gland governed is the thyroid. The 6th chakra, your third eye, is associated with the pituitary gland, and relates to your intuition, self reflection and self-knowledge, our consciousness, dreams, telepathy, visions and clairvoyance. This chakra is where your male aspects (yang, pingala, sun, light, right hand side) and female aspects (yin, ida, moon, dark, left hand side) come together into one, putting yourself together into one being. The 7th chakra, the thousand-petalled lotus, is associated with the pineal gland and connects you to spiritual guidance, for example from angels and past Reiki Masters in your lineage.
The chakras are all connected via the three main nadis, Ida (feminine, moon) and Pingala (male, sun), which BOTH swirl around the central energy channel sushumna, creating chakras where they pass each other. Blockages in any of these centres can cause imbalance such as confusion, scepticism, materialism, headaches, delusions, poor memory, nightmares, throat problems, speaking issues, possessiveness, jealosy, bitterness, heart diease, shyness, oniless, co-dependency, fearfulness, domination, poor self-esteem, a weak-willpower, nrevous tummy, anger, sex addiction and abuse, intimacy worries, back problems, toxicity, manipulation, addiction, rigid boundary-making, excessive worry, weight problems, constipation and low energy. Balanced chakras can lead to stability, relaxation, vitality, security, eating slowly, generosity, optimism, creativity, sensuality, emotional balance, receptivity, desire, fertility, a strong sense of identity, self-esteem, spontaneity, ompassion, healthy relationships, internal balance ,clear communication, creativity, psychic perception, accurate interpretation, imagination, clear vision, wisdom, consciousness and spiritual connection.
Steve's hands will gently hover or are placed in a sequence of positions while you stand, lie or sit comfortably. The energy flows where it is required. Gemstones can also be included by placing them on relevant chakras. The whole person is treated, according to their spiritual, emotional and physical needs. You may experience heat, tingling, sense movement in your body, visualise colours, recall memories, or feel a range of emotions. Steve may ask you to perform some simple physical, sound or breathing exercises, such as clenching and opening the hand palm, and breathing in different intervals for the in-breath, holding, and out-breath.
Clients often find receiving Reiki is a very relaxing and serene spiritual experience, feel more positive, and better able to cope. You are free to talk, cry, and express yourself, questions about breathing, opening up, your experience and feedback are welcomed.
Extended treatment times allow more energy flow and connection to the source. It may take time for you to realise and understand the profoundness of Reiki. More successful first treatments are often of a longer period (eg an hour) to allow you to feel the energy.
